Congratulations to Ms. Gironda, Art teacher, for her student, senior  Jane Rousseau,  art work being selected as the winner of the Superintendent's Annual Greeting Card contest for high school students. This is the second time in three years that the high school winner has been a Lake Worth Community High School student. Way to go Ms. Gironda and her student artists.

From the District's Communications Department: 

On behalf of the Superintendent and the Department of Teaching and Learning, we are happy to inform you that your student's entry into the 2019 Superintendent's Greeting Card Contest has been selected as the WINNER for their school level. ...the winning student artists are listed below:

• Aiden Mitchell, 4th Grade – Binks Forest Elementary School
• Ava Adams, 8th Grade – Independence Middle School
• Jane Rousseau, 12th Grade – Lake Worth Community High School

The winning entries will be printed to create actual fold-over greeting cards. Each teacher and their student will receive printed greeting cards of their respective winning design at no charge to them....  

Additionally, each student and their teacher will be recognized at the regular school board meeting on Wednesday, December 11.... Congratulations again to each of you and your students!
