Five students from Lake Worth Community High School's AFJROTC program were selected along with other students from other schools for a field trip to Tallahassee, chaperoned by the Army National Guard.

First, we visited the State Capitol and then onto FSU for a campus tour and discussion with Bob Lovins, the head of the Department of Military Science Seminole Battalion.

Saturday morning the JROTC cadets did physical training (PT) with a group of cadets from their Army ROTC program and participated in one-on-one discussions about college opportunities.

We then attended the football game against Alabama State University (ASU) on their military appreciation night. The students that represented Lake Worth were M. Kotori, A. Beltran, D. Cespedes, J. St Preux, and me, J. Castillo.
