Breast Cancer Facts
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer for women.
1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
Women who have breast cancer are more likely to have it in their left breast than their right.
The left breast is 5-10% more likely to develop cancer than the right breast.
The left side of the human body is also roughly 55 more prone to melanoma which is a type of skin cancer.
(Facts found by Marie G.)

The Student Government Association (SGA) put together numerous facts and information about Breast Cancer and created individual slide decks. Various slides from each deck were combined to form one slide deck that is presented here.

Ms. C. Johnson is the SGA's lead teacher and guided the students throughout the project.
