Our Principal, Dr. Elvis Epps, sent out the following e-mail to the staff on January 7:
“Good evening Trojans. I have some exciting news for you. We did it!. Our graduation rate for SY 19-20 increased from 78.8 to 91.1! That's a 12.3% increase.  I want to be the first to congratulate and thank each of you for the work you did. Our future is bright and our goals are achievable."

Mr. Loyd, Class of 2020 Assistant Principal  and now an AP at Forest Hill High School, had this to say, “I am so proud of the Class of 2020! Our class motto was a ‘Class of Perfect Vision.’ What the staff and I did to achieve this 91.1% graduation rate is nothing shy of perfection.”
Jose Delgado, who finished Number 1 of his  Graduating Class and is currently a student at FAU, was equally proud of the Class of 2020’s achievement. “The resilience of the Class of 2020 is a matter of great pride after achieving such success during chaotic and unchartered times. Hopefully, this year’s  seniors, and those in the future, will keep the momentum going and continue to, not only make themselves proud but also make all of the Trojan community proud.”

Dr. Epps sums it all up by stating, "It is with great pleasure that I congratulate the Class of 2020 for achieving a graduation rate of 91.1%. We faced many challenges and setbacks during 2020 but there is a bit of good news that came from all the hard work we did last school year. This is the highest  graduation for Lake Worth High School in more than 20 years. This could not have happened without the hard work and collaboration of the Guidance Department Counselors, School Administrators, Teachers, and Students. I want to give our former assistant principal, Mr.Antonio Loyd, a big shout out for keeping his eye on the prize. Our aim for this year is to keep the focus on our graduation rate as we look to increase the rate even higher. Thank you to all Trojans for a job well done."
